an update

Ok so I know that I haven't been the best blogger in the world, but I have a little bit of an excuse.  Every time that I put my memory card into the computer, it freezes.  It is so annoying not being able to put my pictures on the computer!  UGH!  

Well not too much going on here.  We had Jami and Ernie up for the weekend and I made a special Valentine's Day dinner of Raspberry Pecan Chicken.  I think it was one of my better trials of it too.  I served it up on the fancy china that hasn't been used since we got it and plated each dish.  I gotta say that I think I did a pretty good job. Once again...I am alittle annoyed that the pictures are not working.  It would be nice to show off the good food. 

 Will is officially older than 6 months old and he is so much fun!  He weighed in at 22 lbs 14 oz last week and I think he is about 23 lbs now.  My little tank!   He got some shots too, but they hurt him a lot more than the last time.  He has been teething a bit more too so that makes for a clingy, crying baby more often than I am used to, but it is not totally unbearable.  I love it when the little guy curls up in my arms and snuggles me.  He does it to his daddy too and we just feel so much love from that boy.  So Will and Mommy have started going to our ward play group every thursday morning.  It is fun to just get out of the house.  I know that Will doesn't enjoy it as much as I do, but sometimes it is fun to see him interact with other little ones that are only a little bit older than he is, but the same size as him.  

I have been enjoying my new calling as one of the ward Activity Day's Leaders.  I get to do stuff with the 8-11 year olds and this week I am actually planning the activity instead of just the treat.  We are going to make "no bake" cookies. We will do Peanut Butter Balls, Chocolate oatmeal drops, and maybe even rice krispy treats.  It is so much fun to be around these girls and see them play with Will and learn stuff from me and the other leader.
